Questions:1) If we are a distributor and do not typically work with the end user unless they need support, are we able to use vendor references? Answer:Yes. In this case, a distributor would qualify as the same as a wholesaler mentioned in section V.26 of the terms and conditions: "If a Bidder is a Wholesaler and has no direct relationships with an LEA, then the Wholesaler must provide references from its resellers." Question:2) If my company only sells 100 brands, are we eligible to bid? 3) If my company only has a resellers network for 50 resellers, are we eligible to bid? Answer:To be a qualified Wholesaler under this RFB, a Bidder must have a national footprint and a minimum of 500 resellers. A bidder with fewer than 500 resellers will not be considered for an award. (Section V.8 of the terms and conditions) To be responsive, a bidding Wholesaler must carry products representing a minimum of at least 350 manufacturers, brands, or product lines. (Section VI.2 of the terms and conditions) More information on the current bid solicitation can be found at www.PEPPM.org/bids
