I am a furniture dealer, not a manufacturer. Is this contract mostly for manufacturers or can dealers provide a discount schedule of their manufacturers?

Historically the CA due date was a month later than the PA version. Now it’s only one week difference. Why the shortened timeline?

Requesting so many product lines, KCSOS finds it will take more time to administer the awards and get products loaded onto the PEPPM website in time for the January 1, 2026 start date.

When I log on to the Epylon site and click on eBids, I don't see the PEPPM-PA bid, only the California bid. None of the links for the CA bid in your emails are working.

How does a company bid on a ""General Hardware and Software"" contract?

""General Hardware and Software"" is a category of our Catalog contracts that are through a separate bid solicitation process, not the current Product Line bid solicitation.

Please clarify regarding comment ""We don't do E-Rate in CA."" Does that mean CA members cannot purchase E-Rate funded products using PEPPM?

PEPPM/CSIU completes the E-rate Form-470 on behalf interested PA Schools and Libraries. This process is only done in PA, not CA or any other states. California buyers can buy from PEPPM contracts using E-Rate funds using their own process and filing their own Form 470.

If a vendor has multiple resellers, does the buyer select a reseller or do they choose the vendor of the product line who will then select one of their resellers?

After a contract award, Awarded Vendors have options to name multiple resellers for sales and/or to sell directly themselves. Ordering instructions will list and explain the use of resellers authorized by the Awarded Vendor. On the PEPPM website, a buyer will be able to choose among any Authorized Resellers, after selecting desired products and adding them to a list.

Can more than one person work on responses. In Epylon can more than one person see the bid and be able to answer questions?

Only one user can work in the bid form at a time. If someone else in your company needs to work on it, you must forward the bid to them. Then, they can forward the bid form back to you.

Can we use the same references and ""Specifications"" documents for both the PA and CA bid?

These are separate RFBs, however, the PEPPM Pricing Template, References, Returned Goods, and Proof of Supply are the same documents for PA and CA. It is at the discretion of the Bidder if they choose to use the same documents for both RFBs.

Does that mean they need to be sole-source items offered?

You mentioned on submitting products for specific brand. what if we are an authorized reseller wanting to submit multiple brands? or is this only for one brand by manufacturers?

Any vendor that satisfies the requirements of the PEPPM bid solicitation may submit a bid directly. Bidders can respond to as many product lines within the RFB as they want to. The RFB does not co-mingle brand specifications. Each product line will be awarded separately. If we are a manufacturer bidding, do we need to provide a list of authorized resellers at the time of the bid? If so, please identify what inforamtion is required.

Is this the only period for onboarding to the PEPPM Pridct Line Bids or will there be other onboarding periods during the three year term?

PEPPM does supplemental product line bid solicitations each year for new/additional Product Line that are not previously awarded in this bid cycle.

Can a vendor with a new product on board at any time ?

The Bid Response tab must be completed and submitted with the Quote Sheet for a complete, responsive bid, as it is used for price comparisons to determine the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Please review all of Section VIII – Pricing Specifications in the Terms and Conditions. Incorrect or incomplete SKUs may result in a non-responsive bid. The Bid Response tab is formatted to accept to 60,000 SKU'd items, but below that you may submit additional SKUs up to one million products.

Do OEM's have the ability to determine which Distributors / VARs are authorized to submit? It appears the ""VI.9 - Alternative Evidence of Supply"" will allow any VAR to bid without OEM authorization. Please confirm?

As outlined in Section VI.9, bidders may submit alternative evidence of supply in place of a manufacturer’s Proof of Supply Form. Awards are contingent upon the bidder’s legal authority to sell, and may be withdrawn if that authority cannot be confirmed.

If we are a manufacturer bidding, can we use authorized resellers as references?

Per Section V.27 – References and Past Performance of the Terms and Conditions: “If a Bidder has no direct relationships with buying agencies — such as a wholesaler or distributor — then the Bidder must provide references from its resellers.”

Do you acccept changes in the terms and conditions? If so the exception date is quick considering legal.
